UnoDent Instrument Disinfectant and Cleaner Concentrate UnoDent Instrument Disinfectant and Cleaner is ideally suited for the manual disinfection of a variety of instruments, tools, burs and other endodontic items - prior to sterilisation. Safe to use inside both the instrument and ultrasonic baths, the unique 2 in 1 formulation actively removes debris from instruments before attacking micro-organisms that remain on the surface. EN 21530 testing ensures compatibility with a wide range of different materials while preserving instrument quality. The unique formulation contains a corrosion inhibitor and is totally free from chlorides, this ensures your instruments and tools remain in perfect condition after disinfection. The composition does not contain PHMB and consists of greener and less hazardous chemical components making everyday handling and usage much safer for both the user and the environment. This highly effective formula has been tested to EN 14476 for proven effectiveness against all enveloped viruses including Coronavirus. It is also active against Bacteria, Yeast, Tuberculosis and non-enveloped Viruses Adenovirus and Norovirus This concentrated solution has an economical dilution ratio of only 2% or 4% and a mild fresh aroma, unlike other instrument disinfectants that smell of harsh chemicals. EN 21530 Material Compatibility: • EN21530 tested - safe to use on the following materials: Stainless steel, Acrylic glass, Carbon steel, HDPE, Silicone rubber, Titanium, Aluminium** To Use: Add 20ml ± 1ml to 980ml of clean water for a 2% solution, 40ml ± 1ml to 960ml for a 4% solution. To achieve full efficacy use a 4% solution for a 60 minute soaking time. After disinfection, rinse instruments thoroughly with RO or distilled water prior to further processing and sterilisation. Once diluted to a working solution (2%) the liquid is pale green in colour. ** Do not immerse for longer than 24 hours
