Ophthalmic Cautery Eye Burners - Light Duty (Reusable)

Ophthalmic burners are only compatible with the JA114 Eye Handle

Tip/Burner choice: (Please make your choice from the options tab above right).

A - Ring Burner can be used for a variety of lesions and can be used to cut coagulate small areas. Can also be used as a ring over the top of protruding growths. (Light coagulating)

B - Ball Point Burner, used for coagulation for sealing small bleeding points. (Heavy Coagulation)

C - Ring Burner, can be used for a variety of lesions and can be used to cut and coagulate small areas.
Can also be used as a ring over the top of protruding growths. (Cutting loop)

D - Cutting Buner, used for dividing skin tags and papilloma as well as removing some intradermal naevi.
This tip is a side cutter for use in confined areas. (Cutting loop)

F - Cutting Burner, used for dividing skin tags and papilloma as well as removing some intradermal naevi. (Blade wiping incisions)

G - Cutting Burner, used for diving skin tags and papilloma as well as removing some intradermal naevi. (Cutting loop)

I - Standard Point Cutter, used for a variety of lesions and can be used to cut and coagulate small areas. (Angle shallow incisions)

M - Ring Burner, can be used for a variety of lesions and can be used to cut and coagulate small areas.
Can also be used as a ring over the top of protruding growths. (Cutting large warts)

N - Cutting Burner, used for dividing skin tags and papilloma as well as removing intradermal naevi. (Cutting edge)

O - Cutting Burner, used for diving skin tags and papilloma as well as removing some intradermal naevi.
This burner has a small side cutter with a coagulation loop at the top. (Nasal)

R - Cutting Burner, used for diving skin tags and papilloma as well some intradermal naevi. This tip is a side cutter for use in confined areas

S - Standard Point Burner, used for a variety of lesions cand can be used to cut and coagulate small areas.
Suitable for nail trephining (Subungal Haemotoma) burn hole through to release blood. (Shallow incisision)

CP - Cold Point Burner, used for releasing subungual haematoma and for treating spider nevus (central red spot with reddish extensions which radiate outwards by sealing feeding anteviole).
The cold point comes in one size only with a projecting needle approximately 8mm.It should be noted the projecting part of the needle does not glow when the burner is energised: only the lower loop glows.
